On September 29th, the 4th International Culture Festival of GLMU, with the theme of “Gathering in colorful GLMU, appreciating beauty of culture”, was held in the International Education and Exchange Center of GLMU.

Zeng Xiaoyun, president of Guilin Medical University, Jiang Yuliang, Member of the Standing Committee/Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Guilin Municipal Committee, Qin Chengqiang, Vice-chairman of China Association for International Education/Chairman of Guangxi Association for International Education, and Tang Gangjian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Guilin Municiple Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. There was a section of showings performed by Chinese and international students. Through music and dance, students from various countries brought songs and dance performances with local customs, which conveyed feelings and resonance across national boundaries.

This year's event has exhibitions of Chinese traditional culture, international culture and cuisine, photography with theme of "Understanding China·Studying at GLMU". At the exhibition, Chinese and international students appreciated the charm of Chinese culture and experienced the blending of civilizations, and appreciated the photography works. The event has enhanced the brand effect of "Understanding China·Studying at GLMU" .
